Decided to go to Arthurs Pass
Drove van full of random people to Arthurs Pass. One of them was Swedish. Another volunteered to be the treasurer.
Got to Arthurs Pass.
Turned out that no-one wanted to be on my planned trip to Anti Crow Hut.
Changed my trip plan from ‘Anti Crow Hut’ to ‘sit in village, drink tea, read Kindle in the sunshine.”
Still no-one joined me.
Spent 6 hours sitting in village, drinking tea, reading Kindle in the sunshine.
Drove a van full of random people home again.
Was told that my open road driving skills made me “excellent wife material.” Told this person that I was already married. Think they were marginally disappointed.
